VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Yayasan LENGIS HIJAU (supported by CARITAS Switzerland) a NGO recycling used cooking oil into Biodiesel is seeking applications from qualified and energetic candidates for one position of Manager Process Engineering and for one position of Technician Process Engineering for managing its recycling plant in Bali Major Responsibilities of Manager: operating the Full Automatic Bio diesel Recycling plant. leading the technical team in running the processing plant. S/he will work with and manage the Lab Technician, Mechanic and 2 supporting staffs. managing and maintaining the plant building and maintaining a healthy and effective technical team, where members complement and support each other effectively developing and fine tuning procedures and suggesting improvements. coordinating her/his activities well with all the other departments and the external stakeholders so as to contribute optimally to the overall performance of LENGIS HIJAU. Major Responsibilities of Technician: assisting the Manager in all above. Qualification and Competency of Manager: University degree (Bachelors) in Chemical or Process Engineering The post holder must have at least 4 years experience in Managing a recycling plant or other chemical processing plant Maintaining a processing plant (not necessarily the same kind but) including diagnostic and fault finding Developing and implementing procedures and SOPs regarding the running of a chemical processing plant Very good English language skills, since he/she has to communicate with the international manufacturer of the plant or other international suppliers in case of problems and for maintenance. Excellent communication and reporting skills Ability to lead and develop a team Breaking down complex tasks into action plans and monitoring implementation and progress and keeping schedules. Good capacity to learn at the theoretical and practical level. Qualification and Competency of Technician: Minimum Diploma Polytechnic in related Engineering field The post holder must have at least 2 years experience in operating a recycling plant or other chemical processing plant Ability to assist and complement the manager process engineering Starting of assignment: November 2012 Salary: depends on qualification and experience Duration: 2 years minimum with initial 1 year contract.
